For any of our readers that haven’t seen your work, can you give them a brief description of College University and Clock Suckers?
Haven’t seen our work??? Are you kidding??? Unless the readers are living under some sort of internet rock, I’m sure they’ve seen our shows! Hahahahahahaha cough cough cough.....Anywho, sorry about that.
College University follows two best buddies Mike and Parks as they try to make their way through the dumbest institute of higher learning in the world. The campus is packed with mythical creatures, monkeys, robots, and a dean who can out drink most seniors. It’s just like a real college, only not at all whatsoever.
Clock Suckers is basically about three time-traveling assholes. One day Ben learns his grandfather has passed away and he’s inherited all of his crazy inventions, one of them being a time machine. Now normal people might use this device to change the world for the better, but the Clock Suckers are in it strictly for themselves. Money, sex, revenge, or just to mess with some random historical figure, that’s what motivates these 3 losers.
Okay, so let’s be honest, College University is pretty much a shot-for-shot look at your college days, right?
Oh more than just shot for shot. We actually look exactly like the cartoons. And by that I mean we are 2-Dimentional, huge bug eyes, and have thick, black outlines around the outside of our bodies. Seriously though, Mike and Parks’ dorm room is set up exactly like my first dorm in college. It actually got condemned after the first year of living in it. They had to shut it down and rebuild it because every time it rained, water would come flooding in from the closet. The ladies really love it when your room constantly smells like mold and wet dog.
Who’s involved in making the cartoons? Names. role, turn-ons etc.
Well it was all started by my brother Andy and I, we thought up the concept and wanted to make a 22-minute pilot and try to get it on TV. Then I learned how to animate, we put some episodes on the web, and we slowly started asking all our friends to help out with either writing or doing voices. So right now, here’s the CU staff:
Mike “Awesome Face” Parker – Animator, writer, voices, man about town.
Andy “The Nightmare” Parker – Writer, voices, professional marathon sprinter.
Michael “The Italian Hurricane” William – Writer, voices, part-time piano destroyer.
Jason “The Hot Dog” Kamen – Writer, voices, music, magazine enthusiast.
Scott “The Matrix” Patterson – Writer, voices, fantasy football guru.
We all grew up together and now we can share our idiocy with the internet world.
Was I whacked out on heroin, or did I see Macho Man Randy Savage in an episode?
You were whacked out on heroin. This interview is actually an intervention. We’re all your friends here, we love you. We just want the old you back again. Get off the smack!!! Actually, yes that was the real Macho Man. A few years ago we wanted to try and get a celebrity...or a ‘celebrity’ to do a guest voice for an episode.
